Junior Section

Junior coaching - there will be no Junior coaching on Friday 30th July or Friday 6th August as Jason is away.

Summer competitions - these have now started where there will be a competition held each Tuesday of the weeks in the school holidays. Next Tuesday - August 3rd, the competition will be a stableford. They will then alternate with medal competitions. Details are on the notice boards

2010 Junior Knockout (Board event)

There will be a list on the Junior notice board for anyone wishing to enter this year's Junior Knockout competition.

This is a matchplay competition and will be played over the Summer. Please put your name and details on the notice by June 12th.

After this the draw will be made by Steven and Ben.

Junior Stableford Competition

Tuesday 1st June.

Please book your own tee times, fill out the book in the Pro shop, entry £2.

By entering this it will be one of your qualifiying rounds for your handicap (in case of inactive handicaps). I will put the result into the system to confirm this.

Ben Anderson won the 2010 Moulton College Northamptonshire County Golf Club Stableford Junior Open on Sunday 18th April with a score of 38 points. There was a field of 44 players in the competition. - Well done to Ben

Annual General Meeting

Congratulations to Steve King and Ben Anderson who were voted as captain and vice captain respecively of the Junior secton

Junior Coaching

Jason will start the weekly Junior Coaching sessions on Friday 23rd April at 6:30pm.

These are free to all Junior members of Cherwell Edge Golf Club (although there may be a small charge for range balls).

2010 AGM
We will hold this year's AGM on Tuesday 20th April at 7:45pm in the club house. This will be after the regular Tuesday night Junior session.

In this meeting we will appoint the new Junior Captain and Vice, update all on plans for this year, and inform about this year's Junior matches.

Please try to attend so you can hear what's happening in your section. Parents are welcome to attend too

Junior Easter Holiday Competitions:

Two competitions have been arranged for each week of the Easter School Holidays. On Tuesday April 6th, a Junior Stableford; on Tuesday April 13th a Medal. Please book your own tee times. Full details are on the notice on the board

Now the clocks have gone forward we will start up our Junior Nights. The first one is arranged for Tuesday 6th April, the tee is booked from 5:30pm.
